Gables Residential unveils new Whole Foods, Uptown housing

Atlanta-based developer Gables Residential has finished digging out its underground parking garage for the Whole Foods-anchored retail and residential development in Uptown and unveiled what the finished project will look like.

The mixed-use project, which sits on three acres at McKinney Avenue and Routh Street, is expected to open in early 2015.

The development is meant to complement and enhance the Uptown neighborhood, Gables CEO Sue Ansel said.
